Halloween is over and it is finally time to start thinking about the upcoming holidays.  And since the stores have been reminding us for the past several weeks that Christmas is coming, I thought I would share a cute little Christmas craft with you all.  Clothespin Reindeer inspired by Febreze NOTICEables.

But don't worry there will be a lot of talk about Thanksgiving in the next couple weeks around here too. This is our first year hosting Thanksgiving so I am definitely in party prep mood now.

So onto the craft.

3 Clothespins
Googly Eyes
Red Pom-poms
Hot Glue
Optional: Paint or Stain

1. Stain the clothespins. I found it much easier to stain them by taking everything apart and doing the two sides individually.
2. Glue two clothespins together, stacked identically on top on each other.
3. Flip the third clothespin, and glue into onto the others.
4. Glue on the eyes and pom-pom tail.

Easy peasy.

I think I am going to glue together several sets of the clothespins to let Reid paint before adding the eyes and nose.  Then, come Christmas use his reindeer + a cute name tag to decorate some of the gifts.

After I took down our Halloween decorations today, I put these little reindeer on the TV stand and plugged in the Frosted Pine Febreze NOTICEables for a little smell of Christmas.   The smell of pine will always be associated with Christmas for me.

What scents remind you of the holidays?
