My Life of Travels and Adventures: Inside My Toddler's Easter Basket

Inside My Toddler's Easter Basket

26 March 2014

Last year, I shared what Reid got in his easter basket here.  This year we are following the same tradition of useful items and no candy.

I had fun gathering items for Reid's easter basket and may have went a little overboard.  There are a few items that would not fit in the basket and didn't make the cut.
This years basket includes:

1 - Search & Find Book
2 - Coloring Books
2 - 24 piece puzzles
2 - DVDs (Happy Feet & Curious George)
1 - Firetruck
3 - Construction Vehicles
2 - Containers of Playdough
4 - Pouches of Fruit
3 - Granola Bars
2 - Pairs of Pajamas

All stuffed into the same tiny easter basket that I found 2 years ago on the target after clearance rack.
I also bought a pack of matchbox cars but ran out of room in his easter basket.  So I am also thinking we will do a small easter egg hunt around the house/yard this year... If the snow ever melts.  Using the large easter eggs with either a car or some change inside.

To see our Easter Basket's of years past...  1 Year Old Boy Easter Basket and 3 Year Old Boy Easter Basket.

  1. This looks great! My son loves Curious George and cars as well so I've been picking up things here and there to put into his basket but I think I'm going to run into the same problem with not all of it fitting lol.

  2. I LOVE the no candy thing. I plan on doing that for ev too. She likes fruit better anyways :)

  3. We're actually using some gifts that the kids got for Christmas/Birthdays that we purposely didn't give them since they got so much. I love it that more and more people are giving their kids things other than candy!

  5. We are doing the same thing, no candy or at least a lot less than normal. We still have candy from Christmas stockings, yikes!
