This week's Tot School was all about squares.
This sensory bin was perfect for building. Something a two year boy is very into. Reid and Neil spent a good hour playing with these blocks one evening. Definitely a hit.
I love, love, love these dot marker printables from 3 Dinosaurs. Reid loves using the dot markers and stamping around the shapes. I now know to print these in at least lots of 5. A big hit around here.
I mean look at that face. Fun!Supplies: Square Mega Blocks
We play with mega blocks often. Almost daily. So only having the square ones made for a different kind of play for Reid.
Supplies: Play Dough, Clear Sheet Protectors and Printables from Moms Have Questions Too
Playdough has also quickly became a favorite Tot School activity. Surprisingly, Reid is really good about leaving the play dough at the table only and not making a mess.
Supplies: White Paper and Stickers
The sticker Tot Trays are fun for Reid but do not hold his attention long. A few stickers stuck and he is over it.
I was actually surprised that Reid really liked this activity. He sat about 10 minutes (long for a toddler!) and threaded the beads onto the pipe cleaners.
Supplies: Lacing Shapes
For two weeks in a row, the shape threading was not a hit. Maybe someday around here.
My guy loves using a glue stick. That makes this Tot Tray so simple. Squares and gluing.
