My Life of Travels and Adventures: Recipe: Turkey Meatballs (with Spinach)

Recipe: Turkey Meatballs (with Spinach)

29 August 2013

This recipe comes straight from my sister.   She has been making these meatballs for a while now.  I have been buying precooked turkey meatballs for Reid's lunch and finally asked her for the recipe and gave it a whirl.

Color aside... They were pretty good.

Ingredients:

3/4 C Parmesan Cheese
10oz Spinach
2 lb Ground Turkey
1 C Breadcrumbs
1/2 C Italian Seasoning
1/4 C Minced Garlic

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425.
2. Mince spinach.  (I used a blender and pretty much pureed it).

3. Mix everything together.
4. Line baking sheets with tinfoil.
5. Shape into meatballs.
6. Bake for 45min - 1hr.  Turn halfway through.

7. Let cool completely.  Freeze.

Enjoy!

  8. Hi Krystal! What an interesting flavour combination. I would never have thought of combining the two but I love the idea. I'm not the biggest fan of turkey but I reckon I'd really love these. Thanks so much for sharing at Thriving on Thursdays. I'm featuring this at tomorrow's party. Thanks so much for linking up.

  13. These were ok, too much garlic for me. I think next time I'll only use about half the garlic called for.
