With only a few days before July 4th, I decided it was time to switch out my Spring Wreath for a Patriotic Wreath.
Although, it seems like I have a bunch of craft stuff... in reality my supplies for this project was limited. I quickly dissembled the flowers from the Spring Wreath, found wooden USA letters (duplicates from the Alphabet Wall in the nursery) and some random scraps of ribbon and started on a simple wreath.
I painted the USA red, white and blue (original right?)... Then hot glued them together and then to the wreath.
I made a couple red and white "bows". I just looped the ribbon and tied them with a pipe cleaner (Hey I said my supplies were quite limited).
See pretty in the front... business in the back.
I used the pipe cleaners to attach the bows to the wreath and viola...
A simple patriotic wreath...
What have you made recently? There has to be a "proper" way to make bows. Off to pinterest to see how...
