My Life of Travels and Adventures: Recipe: Double Chocolate Banana Muffins

Recipe: Double Chocolate Banana Muffins

10 January 2013

We had some ripe leftover banana's floating around the kitchen recently.  Neil requested these muffins.

  • Ingredients:
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1-1/3 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup (6 ounces) miniature semisweet chocolate chips

They were super easy to make.  Just mix every thing together, then fold in the chocolate chips.

The recipe only makes 12 muffins.

Bake at 325F for 20-25 minutes.
