One year ago today...
I came into work as usual.
I went home for lunch as usual.
I came back to work at 1pm and told only one person that I needed to go see the Doctor. On the way out the door, I said see you all in a little bit.
I drove to the hospital. Got checked out. Called Neil and my Mom. Reassured them all is okay around 2pm. Stick to your normal activities.
It wasn't until I was swarmed by nurses closer to 3pm that I thought there might be a baby soon. Neil headed to the hospital.
At 4pm, I was admitted and met Neil and my Dr. in the hall while being wheeled to labor & delivery.
At 4:30pm, an induction was planned about to get started.
At 5pm, Neil ran home to get our stuff and the induction was cancelled.
Neil returned at 5:15pm and I was wheeled into the OR at 5:35pm.
At 6:10, they finally brought Neil back to be with me.
After what seemed like hours of pulling, tugging, and waiting...
At 6:21pm, Reid was born screaming up a storm.
