So a couple weeks ago, I decided to do a Cake Smash session with Reid in preparation for his First Birthday party.
I enlisted the help of Neil, ran out to the store to buy a cake and set up for the picutres.
We figured that Reid might sit for a few pictures before going in for the cake.
Take 1:
This was the first picture. He saw the cake and screamed.
Then he made his move for the cake.
But screamed cause the frosting was on his hand.
Yes, Neil had to wipe off the frosting...
So we tried a standing approach.
Looking at Daddy.
Mmmm... Cake.
Wait there is Mommy.
Eventually, we plopped him into his highchair. Set the cake in front of him and waited for the mess.
This was the cake after he was done....
Yeah... I have a strange baby.

Ahhh, his expressions are priceless! I had to laugh when I saw the first photo! It took my son awhile to warm up to his cake smash (I had to get my fist in the cake and show him how it was done lol)
