Hospital Tour

We had our hospital tour this past weekend.  I was most interested in where we go when we are at the hospital and what the rooms look like.

I found out the door that Neil can drop me off at.  He was quite happy as they have complimentary windshield wash and a squeegee at that entrance.  Anyways...

The maternity floor is very nice.  The birthing suites are singles (yay!) and huge.  The hospital does have 2 jacuzzi suites that are available on a first come first serve basis.

We found out that the baby stays with me in the birthing room for an hour after the birth.  Then he will go to the nursery to be checked up on and I will make my way to my recovery room.

The baby can stay with me in my room for the remainder of my stay or he can go to the nursery at my request.

I am not sure how long I will be in the hospital after the birth but and starting to get excited to have a little one soon!
