Last night we headed to our first Phillies game of the season. It had rained most of the morning but cleared up in the afternoon.
I dressed in layers (two long sleeves and my Phillies shirt) plus I brought a windbreaker, a sweatshirt, a pair of gloves and a blanket. Neil even wore layers!
We started out the game nice and toasty with my quintessential Phillies item. Crab Fries!
As the night went on, the sun went down, the wind picked up and the layers went on.
Five layers and a blanket later... I was still freezing. We left with half the crowd at the top of the 6th inning. The Phillies were down 7 to1 and neither one of us could feel our faces or hands. Fun times were had at the game... Can't wait til the next one... When it will hopefully be warmer!
Sorry you didn't have the best time (cold weather and a poor showing) but I hope it was still fun :) Those fries look good! ::drool::
