My Day With A One Month Old

I always wondered what my day would be like once Reid was born.  Well I decided to keep track of what we did for a whole day.  Let me tell you it was exhausting, as each day is.

So without further ado... Friday February 10th:

7:40 am - Reid is starting to wake up.  I run to the bathroom and for a drink.
7:43 - Reid is awake and hungry. Feeding time #1.
8:10 - Done eating.  Reid plays on my bed while I pumps and get dressed.
8:22 - Hanging out in the kitchen together.
8:25 - Reid is in the bouncer on the dining room table while I make breakfast and wash some bottles.

8:37 - Reid is on his playmat on the couch while I eat breakfast on the couch.

8:45 - Tummy time for Reid.

8:54 - Upstairs to get Reid dressed and take his one month pictures.

9:10 - Cuddle time
9:30 - Reid is asleep on my chest.
9:46 - Reid is awake.
9:48 - Feeding #2.  I talk to my mom on the phone.
10:18 - All done eating.  Playtime in the boppy and bouncer while I call his daycare.

10:53 - Cuddle time.
11:07 - Reid is swaddled and sleeping in the swing.  I wash last nights dishes, clean some of the kitchen and do a load of laundry.  Start making my lunch.

11:35 - Reid is awake.  Finish up making my lunch one handed.
11:37 - Feeding time # 3. I eat my lunch also.
12:05 - Done eating.  Fussy baby time.
12:15 - Reid is in the ergo.  Time to walk the dogs around the block.
12:30 - Baby is asleep.

12:35 - Nope baby is awake
12:45 - Swaddled and back asleep in the swing.
12:47 - Awake again
12:52 - Reid is asleep on my chest.
1:28 - Awake
1:30 - Feeding # 4.
1:50 - Asleep on me
2:00 - Awake in the bouncer while I pump.
2:10 - Reid is fussy but falls asleep on me.
2:22 - Asleep and swaddled in the swing.  I clean the living room and some of the dining room.

2:56 - Awake.
2:59 - Feeding # 5.
3:31 - Naked time on the playmat.

3:40 - Outfit # 2.

3:50 - Reid is in the moby while I do a few things around the house.
3:58 - Now he is in the swing.
3:59 - Nope, back in my arms.  Time to rock and read.
4:25 - Sleeping baby
4:40 - Awake
4:43 - Feeding time # 6
5:06 - The dog is puking on the living room floor.
5:11 - Reid is sleeping in the swing while I pump.
5:12 - Daddy is home.
5:13 - Awake with Daddy.
5:21 - Daddy changes Reid's diaper.
5:23 - Crying Reid comes to Mommy.
5:32 - Reid takes a bottle from Daddy while I shower.  Feeding time # 7
5:54 - Neil starts dinner while I calm a crying Reid.
6:10 - Feeding time # 8
6:21 - Crying time
6:33 - Calm in the boppy while we eat dinner.

6:42 - Reid is crying again.
6:53 - Reid is sleeping on me.
7:33 - Awake
7:37 - Bottle with Daddy while I pump.  Feeding time # 9.
7:48 - Reid & Daddy have cuddle time and fall asleep.
7:57 - Awake and crying.
8:07- Reid & Mommy have cuddle time and fall asleep.

10:15 - Awake.
10:10 - Reid has a bottle with Daddy while I pump.  Feeding time # 10.
10:25 - Reid is asleep on Daddy.
10:34 - Swaddled and headed upstairs.  Daddy rocks Reid to sleep.
10:49 pm - Asleep in the rock 'n play.
1:25 am - Awake
1:30 - Reid has a bottle with Daddy while I pump. Feeding time # 11.
1:40 - Reid is asleep with Daddy.
1:50 to 2:30 - Asleep in the rock 'n play but grunting so that it keeps mommy up.
3:10- 3:20 - More grunting.
4:20 am - Awake
4:22 - Diaper change.
4:25 - Reid has a bottle with Daddy while I pump.  Feeding time # 12
4:40 - Asleep on Daddy.
4:50 - Asleep on Mommy.
5:15 to 5:30 - In the rock 'n play grunting.
6:45 - Asleep on Mommy.
7:00 am - Awake for the day.
7:05 - Reid has a bottle with Daddy while I get dressed.  Yet another feeding time.
7:15 - Reid is playing with Daddy while I pump.
7:25 - Reid is crying with Daddy while I make breakfast.
7:30 - Daddy leaves for work.  Cuddle time for Reid and Mommy.

Wow, just typing that all up was exhausting.  No wonder I am tired all the time.
