This afternoon I decided to give running/jogging a shot again. This summer we have been riding bikes a lot and I have not used our treadmill too much, so today was a test run.
I started the C25K program back in the spring but never really made it past week 2. I would get to discouraged and frustrated with myself and lack of ability to run for more than 90 seconds at a time. After bootcamp this summer (and all the running she made us do) and loosing 40lbs, I decided to give running a try again. My goal is to be able to run a 5K. I should say that I am using the term run lightly... its more like a slow jog, but hey I am doing it.
So, today I set a plan to walk/run in 2.5 minute intervals for 30 minutes. I walked the first 2.5 minutes, jogged the next 2.5, walked 1 minute and then ran for the next 6.5 minutes (1/2 mile). I was feeling pretty good, but the hubby came home at this point, so I decided to stop for the night. I am pretty proud of myself for that short little run I did. My plan is to get up in the morning and run again...

I read so many books that I forget what they are about, so I am hoping that by writing my review of the book it will help me keep track of the stories.
